Sorry I haven't posted anything recently...I've been just a little bit busy with AP exams and finals and farewell ceremonies.
This summer, I'm not going to be traveling as extensively as last year, though I will be going to New York to see Guys and Dolls on Broadway, and to spend a few weeks in the Sierra's with some friends, and to visit my family in Maryland and Virginia later on. As for now, I'm simply counting down the days until I can get out of my house (parental pressures are becoming a bit desperate as i am to be leaving soon.)
And the weather up in Washington! Beautiful! I can't wait to have a near constant stream of cold weather! No joke, I adore rain and fog and snow and what others generally view as shitty. Not true! It's SO much better than those unbearably sunny days where even when you're wearing next to nothing, you're still stifling....At least when it's cold, you can just bundle up, or snuggle up to a good book or movie with a cup of tea or coffee...Yumm...

And congo-rats on graduation and your choice to study classics,
does seem the way to go, do you have any lofty ideas of what you might do with your education or is it more to pique your interest as of now?
and tell me, do they film scrubs at "sacred heart" in spokane? or is that just a coincidence?
all the best

The difference between life and fiction is that fiction has to make sense.

Classics have piqued my interest since I was ten or eleven--for some reason I've always had a strong desire to learn Latin and study archaic battle strategies (don't ask). It's just become a part of me now, though I have no idea what I'm going to do with it...It has been really helpful with learning other languages, like French, but I have a natural aptitude for languages in general so that may just be coincidence.
And I have no idea if they really film scrubs there...I should definitely find that out, though (I love scrubs.)

Been too long! Congrats on the graduation. I am extremely happy for you, and proud. I bet you are a bit excited, and maybe even a little nervous about going to college so far away from home. What will your mom ever do without you??? She is probably nervous as hell too.
When are you coming this way? I have a crazy amount of vacation time, and would love to see you before you disappear for a year + hitting the books.
Chris and i have been extremely busy with the house, work, and generally trying to not kill each other. I haven't had time to do any metal working, or even scratch myself 8(
Write me back when you can, and give your mom a big hug for me.
Love you,
Donovan
